Everyone’s perspective is different, but…

“Life is a journey.” Ever heard anyone say that? Or how about one of these:

“Life is a play”

“Life is pain”

“Life is a game”

What’s your metaphor for life?

Yes, every person’s perspective is different, but let’s not focus on that difference right now. It would be a daunting task to market to people if we had to understand the individual worldviews of the planet’s 7.8 billion people.

For now, let’s focus on what we share. Because there is a shared worldview among humans, and it binds us.

And if we put more of a spotlight onto what’s universal, it becomes less of a puzzle to understand people. This is a good thing if you’re in the business of trying to connect with people through your products, art, or causes.

For us entrepreneurs and creators, understanding this shared human worldview isn’t an option — it’s mission-critical.
